I just wanted to take a minute to showcase my newest venture, and to discuss how easy it it to take an idea, get it to market, and make some money.

eBooks for Amazon Kindle
I personally started with this eBook craze 2 years ago with my Amazon Kindle. I say craze as this Christmas, it was the number 2 wished for item for Christmas this year, and was expected that 45 million eBook Readers would be bought or given as gifts in North American this Holiday Season.
I have always been an avid reader, but after I got my Amazon Kindle, I was glued to it. My reading habits tripled. Which has been great for me as far as my personal development goes, as I read a lot of “Success” books.
These readers are such great devices, to carry your entire book collection around with you always. The e-ink paper technology most have, I find actually easier to read than paper.
Well, 18 months ago I was hooked on reading, and was actively seeking more content. Preferably content that did not cost much. If you read a lot, with these readers, and buy every book from their stores, you monthly bill can get really big. So I found online, that there were some great places to get free eBooks if you search enough. You can find many out of copyright, or not copyrighted books, everything from Charles Dickens and thousand of authors from the Classic Years, to “success” books like Napoleon Hill’s, Think and Grow Rich – all for free.
Well . . . I smelt a business opportunity here.
I was finding that the books were not that easy to find and download, and when you did download them, most of the time they were in a file format not usable for your reader. So I got to work, hired some outsourcers, downloaded thousands of great eBooks, categorized them into categories like Business, Fiction, Western, Si-Fi, etc, and converted them to various formats that could be used on different eReaders.
This took several months of hard work, but it has been worth it. I created DVD’s of over 28,000 eBooks for the top eBook Readers, and using eBay as a test site, started selling them. Over the next few months I would on split testing eBay listings, pricing, shipping methods all to get the perfect product, while studying the competition. In fall of this year, and over the Christmas season, I was selling 1000’s of eBook DVD’s monthly for the popular eBook Readers. Sales continue to be brisk as I have expanded into other Readers and into the tablet market with the iPad and Android Tablets, and I am currently about to launch product in Spanish and French.
EBay is the Perfect tool to launch a product. You can gauge your competition, set and test different pricing, see which adds sell better, and you do need your own web site.
Now that I got a great product, it was time for the launch of The Classic eBooks Site to grab the market share that I was not getting from eBay, like the other 90% of the Market (search Engines) using my SEO techniques.
I will update the new web site stats in a couple of months.
